Early Childhood Coaching

Are you  a ECEC leader looking for solutions have you tried Coaching before?

We can bring an external perspective and supports educators, leaders and teams to reflect on their strengths and needs, build their knowledge and work towards embedding new practices that will improve their service.
Coaches provide an incredibly important service by listening, empathizing, and encouraging Educators and Leaders  respectfully and nonjudgmentally. To find their own solutions  and plan for continuous improvements in practices.

Leaders and Supervisors in Early childhood have multiple roles .

Coaching is not like consulting its about bringing the focus to "what is working' and supporting useful action that will help gets what wanted or needed!

Case Study

Desert Early Learning Child Care (fictious name) was finding though they had a core staff team that stayed working at the Centre for many years they were constantly taking on  Cert II Trainee's and also trying to encourage others to upgrade to the Diploma to ensure if someone left they would still have their 50% Diploma qualified as required in the regulations. Though the core staff were being burnt out having to step up and supervise and train the new trainee's. One Supervisor decided to take up the Coaching option. As the coaching was taken on and the Supervisor was no longer feeling burnt out the other core staff became interested and now the whole Centre is working towards a Coaching culture. "We are all less stressed and are finding everyone is showing initiative and focusing on 'solutions" instead of problems."
